What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a web site can download on your computer or mobile device when a site or page is visited. A Cookie allows the web site, or another web site, to recognise the device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files are based on the same principle. We use the term “Cookies” in this document to refer to all the files that collect information in this manner.
Cookies perform a vast range of functions. For example, they can help us remember your user name and your preferences, analyse our site’s performance, or allow us to recommend contents that we believe are relevant to you.
Some Cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click on “remember me” when you are authenticating access, your user name will be memorised in a Cookie.
Most Cookies do not collect information that identify you, but will collect more general information such as the way in which users reach our site, how they use it or a user’s general position.
Advertisers sometimes use their own Cookies to provide targeted advertising. For example, advertisers can use a profile that they have put together on other sites which you have visited before, so that they can present you with the most relevant notices during your visit to this site. If you live in the European Union and would like to learn more about how advertisers use this type of Cookie or how to choose not to receive them, you can visit the site www.youronlinechoices.eu. If you live in the United States and would like to know more, visit the site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

Google Analytics (Technical third-party Cookies): The site uses this type of web analysis service supplied by Google Inc. to obtain aggregated-type statistical information, useful when assessing the use of the web site and the activities engaged in by the visitor. Google reserves the right to transfer information collected with one of its Cookies to third parties whenever required by law or when the third party processes information on its behalf. Further information on the management of privacy and/or the methods that can be used to refuse or eliminate Cookies is available on the URL: http://www.google.it/intl/it/analytics/privacyoverview.html. We cannot control the Cookies that these third-party sites supply and for this reason you should find out more directly from each third party if you want greater control over these Cookies.
